Cut your time is a freeware tiny desktop program that allows you to create reminders (alarms) for your day to day tasks and important events.  There are lot of online reminder tools like which provides very advanced functionality, but the good thing with these kind of desktop tools is that they don’t need any authentication to setup a simple alarm. You can easily create alarms with a certain frequency, sound and basic visual effect. The tool is very simple to use and provides a lot of customization. Cut your time is fully portable. There is no option to start it as a windows service but you can overcome this by adding the program to the start-up folder, or setup a windows task scheduler to start it automatically.

  1. Hello.

I’m one of the Cut Your Time authors: first of all I want to thank you for the positive review about CYT.
About the Cons you’re right especially about the mp3; the missed alarms are not highlighted but reported inside the log.

From now a Linux version of CYT is available at the same page.
