Earlier we covered few free windows uninstall managers which are better than the program specific uninstallers. CPM is another Freeware uninstall manager which can do lot of other functions besides uninstalling software. Comodo Programs Manager (CPM) is an easy to use utility that gives you the power to completely remove unwanted software, drivers and Windows features from your computer. It’s monitoring functionality keeps track of the sometimes intricate and obscure changes that are made during the installation and usage of a program. When you uninstall using CPM, it’s as though the software was never there in the first place.

Comodo Programs Manager Installation
Comodo Programs Manager Configuration
CPM requires a reboot after installing, because it installs as Windows service that runs in the background. After the restart, the program would take few minutes to do the analysis of your existing software installations when you open the program. It would take couple of minutes depending on your system configuration.
On starting Comodo Program Manager from the Start Menu, you’ll see that it manages software in four groups; “Programs”, “Drivers and Services”, “Windows Features” and “Windows Updates”.
Before going for uninstalling any software, it is worth to check the configuration settings once and make any necessary changes. As shown in the below image, the CPM allows you to take backup of the settings before uninstalling any software. This is very useful in-case you want later to have your uninstalled application back.
CPM offers to install new software using its monitor tool, which provides more functionality to the uninstall manager and restore manager at later time. If a program was monitored by CPM when it was installed, you’ll get the option to do a “Complete Uninstall” and to also make a backup of the program using the “Make Installer” button.
